He mentioned that NADS mostly focuses on policy studies in the fields of economy, politics, society, as well as public administration. According to Prof. Nie, NADS committed to becoming a new Chinese think tank with international influence, and serving for national development strategy and social progress. Mr. Ang highly appreciated NADS’s development mode and its products. He exchanged details about Taylor & Francis, which includes its business model, published brands, and resource superiority.
Next, they exchanged thoughts on how to improve the international fame of domestic think tanks. Prof. Nie hoped to strengthen the cooperative ties between NADS and the global society, improve information sharing, promote the quality of NADS think tank products and reach the international leading level. Mr. Ang responded that Taylor & Francis Group would be willing to provide NADS with channels of international communication and helps NADS publish its research products to the rest of the world.
